@andrewcbo BTW, this looks like LEITCH encryption, here in the states, we had videocipher, oak orion and leitch.. this almost looks like it but, the audio wasn't scrambled.

@andrewcbo They were testing @ the uplink it looks like.. what does WATERSHED mean (and, do they still do that)? Noticed the channel changed (or did you do that) So, the UK doesn't use astra now? this is something we could have used in the states.. ohh wait, it was called primestar but that got bought out!

What type of encryption is this? and how old is this? I bet Astra is mostly digital today.

@ParanormalRob yep analogue encryption methods 12yrs ago. computing power came to the point where you could actually try and put the picture back together (although wobbly on same colour parts) Sky uses digital conditional encryption on astra 28e. 19e has mainly digital fta / encrypted channels now of france, germany and spain.
