  • A tiger lily dies down and comes back each year while most daylilies are evergreen. Some will die down and come back, but most will last from spring until fall. Mine stay green over the winter. Daylilies are solid or bicolored with an eye and/or an edge, while tiger lilies will have black spots in them. Tiger lilies have one tall stalk while daylilies are in clumps. Daylilies also have a tuberous root system while I believe (but I am not certain) that tigerlilies come from bulbs.

  • I have a question - what is the difference in a tiger lily and a day lily? Thanks for your response!

  • i love it
