I have been working on a very reasonably priced lightweight trumpet that is great for lead work. My goal is to provide players an affordable commercial sounding trumpet. I am using these mouthpieces:
gRawlin #1, Purviance P1, NY Bach 10.5DW, Schilke Lloyd Michels custom V cup on a Schmidt back-bore. All with the great gRawlin rim. Keep watching as I progress on the designs.

  • What will be the price range? Sounds great.

  • @CaptainQueue Hoping it comes in below $2000 list. We'll see

  • @grawlin the list price is now $1800. July or August I will have demo horns for people to try for 3 days in their own homes. see gRawlin.com for details.

  • George, sounds amazing! The tone is so full bodied, yet very clear. Of course I think you would sound pretty good on my $500 Conn Artist :)

  • Bravo, congratulations.

It seems so easy to see him play.

    Thanks for posting this lesson.
