@franciscosuman I think starting from 1:41 it goes up to the turn around at B7, then A, then G, then D7 (the fifth of G) to signify the key change to G during the solo starting at 1:52

What cracks me is: I know they are in E7 during the riff, and G for the solo. What's the transition chord before going to G?

wish Duane Allman could have been a part of these sessions. This would have made for a follow up that could have hardly even been surpassed in rock history.

Epic drumming from jim gordon. Able to take any simple beat, and in the end make the song phenominal. D+D was a chemistry never to be surpassed.

Wolf should have been aware of this version; he didn't die until 1976. Wolf's version is (I believe) the definitive one, but actually Willie Dixon wrote this song.
The drumming is so cool, what an awesome feel. Great track
