The Williamsville covered bridge has been around for nearly 150 years. Spanning the Rock River, it connects the small hamlets of Williamsville and South Newfane, Vermont. Both towns are home to nearly two dozen artists, and each year they host an open studio tour, the Rock River Artists Tour.
In this video, Richard Foye, a South Newfane ceramicist, explains a bit about the bridge's storied history and its muse-like effect on the surrounding trove or artists.
