Onboard video starts after 1:14 - some ground footage at the beginning just to show i can actually (finally) fly this thing. An hour later we try the video camera. the results are pretty interesting...
Aerial Video - Photography at Lake Powell. Go Pro Helmet Hero Wide Camera mounted to Multiplex EasyStar Remote Control Airplane. Weatherill Canyon - June 2010, Glen Canyon National Recreation Area, Utah. I'm not much of an RC pilot, and this Easy Star is totally stock, with 400 brushed motor. The GoPro Standard Resolution Wide version Camera was a very heavy payload, but we still got some great video. If you have a good inrunner brushless motor/esc/lipo combo to suggest, i'm interested, please comment and let me know what worked for you. Next year I'll have the power to get some much better video. Filmed on Lake Powell June, 2010. Enjoy.
