The ILO Global Business and Disability Network: Joint Action to Uplift Employment Opportunities

The ILO Global Business and Disability Network is a joint initiative of the Bureau for Employers' Activities and the ILO's Skills and Employment department that serves the employment needs of disabled members of the community. In a panel discussion, network member employers such as Carrefour, discussed the benefits of being a disability-inclusive employer. José Manual Salazar-Xirinachs, Executive Director of Employment at the ILO says the initiative aims to raise awareness and increase opportunities for disabled members of the labour force.
