Call of Duty: Black Ops multiplayer game play on the Sager NP5165 on maxed out settings at 720p (it runs just fine at 1080p but i like to give my laptop a break while recording)

Sager NP5165 Specs

-Intel i7-2720QM Processor (2.2ghz)
-Nvidia GT555m Graphics card
-6gb of Ram

Black ops multiplayer seemed to have some lag issues when it first came out for PC but it seems to play a lot smoother now. If you notice any lag its most likely caused by either a poor connection or fraps recording. The average frame rate is 60 fps.

  • So is the 2GB graphics waaaaaayyyy better than the Np5160s? I'm not going to be gaming on the laptop 24/7. Just when I go out of town to a relatives house where there's no internet, or TVs really.. I would like to run it in it's highest or near highest setting. I'll mainly be using it for just web surfing, facebook, youtube, microsoft office stuff for school, netflix streaming, etc..

  • @TheOnlyOmfgSkyler you should be fine with getting the Np5160 but there are a few upgrades in the Np5165 like the optimus technology but its up to you,

  • I was thinking about getting this PC would you recomend getting a Desktop?

  • @webshow202 Desktops will always be a better choice if you are planning to just use it for gaming. You can get a more powerful desktop for cheaper than any gaming laptop. The reason to get a gaming laptop is if you travel a lot or if you are going to college and are required to get a laptop like in my case. Though this gaming laptop is nice if you dont need a laptop than you should go with the a desktop.

  • will this run Counter strike source.

  • @thentantt Based off the system requirements, this laptop should easily run Counter-Strike: Source. I cant test that personally but im sure it will run fine
