My Grandfather(Herman Henderson) was a Montford Pointer as well. Before he passed he use to always say "I fought for this country only to come back to still be a Nigger"

As a retired marine you should have been honored long ago.I am glad to see you folks were finally recognized for your service to our country and corps. It is a disgrace that it took so long.SEMPER FI

My Grandfateher was a Montford Pointer in the 1940's. I followed his footsteps after noticing an Eagle Globe and Anchor tattoo on his forearm and spent 21 wonderful years as a Marine. Oh forgot to mention my grandfathers name. James Smith (Norfolk Virginia Deceased)
