damn f*ck cya forealz they took my kid as soon as i pushed her out.... they were like its temporary custody we just need to investigate.... we will give her back... a grimy caseworker went and said this to me she said "let me tell u something if u are white u need to stay with the white if u are black u need to stay with the black if are puerto rician u need to stay with the puerto rician we dont need anymore half breed kids around here i was impalled.

Lancaster & Berks & Chester Cties are definitely corrupt~ I know of a woman who is a friend of a caseworker & traffics in fostering children. The woman I am talking about befriended a hard up Berks family & then behind their backs started making false reports, so the kids were taken & then put into her home as the so called safe haven ! The parents are devastated~!! Its all about the money.

I am in care of CYS and I hate it. they should have taken me from my drug addict parents way before I was 13. I was being abused and all that good stuff and they said there wasn't good enough evidence to take me out of that house. now I am in the independent part. they helped me get back out of my abusive behavior. they helped me but it is the court system that is FUBAR. blame it on the court not CYS

I am also a victum of CYA Lancaster County STEALING my child. Let me just say one thing you are wrong about, CYA is not keeping you're daughter/grandaughter because they don't want to be proven wrong, they are doing it because they make NO money off a child until that child is adopted. Every adoption to them lines their pockets a little more. It is a LEGAL BLACK MARKET for baby stealing.

We went to court last month, had to return yesterday (I don't want to identify ourselves yet),and we have to go back the 12th. Our case was continued each time (insufficient time). I am begging someone from the press to come to our next hearing. So far we have spent over $20,000 trying desperately to get this corrupt agency out of our lives. Of course the most negative testimony came from their uneducated employees. All of the therapists spoke very highly of our family.

beccandr...i am glad that you think this is a good idea. In order to make something like this work without parents being further attacked or harrassed, it has to be kept under wraps. We would also need other support systems such as lawyers outside of these counties and am hoping for financial investers.We need the goal or outcome to be in fixing family problems, not tearing families apart.Any ideas? We can yell and cry about it but at some point we need to take action. Still wracking my brain

This is such awesome news because I have desperately wanted to do the same thing. I even envision billboards screaming "ARE YOU BEING HARASSED BY CYS??? CALL US, WE CAN HELP"LOL! Its a very sad situation. I can't not imagine how I would be getting through this w/o my family's support and I know most people don't have that! Also, most do not have the funds to get good representation!
