  • Good job Mark.

This is a very classical sounding piece of music even more so, when played at this speed.

I've heard some folks say it bears a striking resemblance to one of the Mozart Horn Concertos, although apparently the Mozart version is in a major key.

De Dannan certainly made a great job of it on their album 'The Star Spangled Molly'

    Cheers,

    Dick

  • I hadn't thought about the Mozart connection, but I can certainly hear it in my head. Thanks for the comment.

  • Wow this is lovely setting of this tune. I'd like to get those notes you're using to backup the melody, so I can figure out the chords to get this effect. It does sound baroque and in the nicest possible way.

    Very clean performance !

    Thanks so much for posting.

  • Mark, once again, great job. I love your music!
