I'll put this simply, This song has Emotion...
FAR too many people take that statement for granted with any music, but this song actually has it. This performance sets a high bar for songs that have a lot of emotion... that bar will never be reached by the unending horde of popular "artists" that do not deserve their fame.

You know, until I heard this song today, I never really understood why so many TMG fans liked it so much, but after falling in love and doing long distance, I finally really understand and connect to it. I know exactly what John means when he says "the most remarkable thing about you standing in the doorway is that it's you and that you're standing in the doorway". Thank you, John, for being able to put to words every feeling I've ever experienced in my life.

My most basic goal in life is to be able to find someone to drive at night with, listening to music like this. Imagining driving along the east-west interstates so that once we hit the end of the road, after a while, we can turn around and do it again. There's a lot to see and hear in the world, it's unfortunate how difficult it can be to find someone to share it all with.
