Yao Ming Retires - Time will remember you

I admire you so very much Yao. Not because you were a global icon, not because you carried the hopes of a nation, but because with each setback, with each harrowing injury you kept going, kept pushing forward. It takes a certain character, determination and mental strength to develop and mature the way you did in the NBA, something I think far too many people fail to see. But for anybody who has every strived for something in life, for anybody who ever dreamed when nobody believed, I thank you, for giving me the strength to fight through everything, just as you have. Your body may have crumbled, but your determination and strength will resonate in my mind forever. God bless you Yao, and all the best in whatever you choose to do.
