i went on that roller coaster with my mum when i was about 8. the safety bar flew open

As we crashed into the back of it..it didnt move an inch..metal onto metal at 40mph it was a Dead Stop!..Everyone in the park came rushing over.

Lucky for us..the wife of the bloke sat at the back of me was a solicitor,within 10 minutes the park was full of Police,Fire engines,Ambulances& a helicopter(not sure if that was tv or Police).

There were only 6 of us on the ride..I dont know how the others got on but I got 4k for my ordeal..I havent been on another dipper since tho :(

I was involved in a coaster crash at Rhyll in Wales a few Years back at the mini pleasure park there(I think its been closed down now)

As the train I was on came back into the station at the end of the ride..I could see the workers trying to push the other train that was parked up in the station further down the track out of the way..I,ll never 4get the look on their faces as we came around the last bend at around 40mph&realised they werent goin to move it in time&jumped for their lives.

seems all fixed now, the ride has a VERY good record and would have been a real shame if they had to break it down and remove it.
