Garapan was the major town of Saipan during the Spanish times, German times, Japanese times, and still is today. This drive takes you from American Memorial Park to the Old Japanese Jail.

  • Thank you for this video. I was born in Saipan, and I left for the Philippines last 2002, then eventually for the US mainland. Until now, I haven't gone back.. I miss my homeland so much. This brings back sooo much memories.

  • @jpranojo Thanks Jpranojo. I'm glad you like it. Hopefully I have many more videos you will like.

  • this video makes me think of hawaii. it's like the american version, but then it also reminds me of driving through Vietnam. The homes are the Asian feeling that I get from, but the cars are what gives me the Hawaii feeling. Now I see what Saipan looks like . I wonder if it's cheap traveling there, in terms of food, hotel, and activities costs. I'll be doing some Google search tonight now. Thanks for the video. I love it.

  • @silliepooh Thanks. Let me know if I can be of any help.

  • So cool that you got to see this place...will probably never get off the mainland in my lifetime, so thankful we can daydream to nice drivethru's like this. Thanks, man!

  • @LIONSMANIAC Thanks. I'm glad you liked it.
