@Deth666Iron Try Jailbreak if you don't want, 'crappy pop songs.' Although, to be fair, Thin Lizzy weren't a pop group just because they had their fair share of lighter songs. Every band has light and dark.

No doubt Gary was brilliant, but in my humbe opinion he wasnt any better than Robbo or Scott !!! my opinion only !!!!!

gary moore was a great guitarist yes, but at the times of Thin Lizzy he was also an arse, a disrespectful musician that played far too loud on stage, wanted the lights on himself and forgot about the important thing: the song. He wasted many songs on stage by his attitude. Luckily he didn't stay long in Thin Lizzy. And luckily too there's amazing solos on this album he played. Funny how things goes, huh? :o)

Gary Moore! The ULTIMATE six-string slayer from Belfast there ever was!
You can smell the stings & amps cook on the solo.Everyone gets paranoid that their sound system is smoked after Gary tears ass on the fretboard!

Yes, I agree, a great blues player and even better when he got into a hard rock shred. Just about the best Brit/Irish player maybe (I'd go for Rory, if I was interested in those kind of debates). He did overplay though. There are some embarrassing videos of him playing with the blues greats and blasting away over their subtle groove. It's exceptional playing, but so inapropriate as to be bad playing.
