Hey.
Im fifteen, and Ive had this for 2 years now.. It's really hard for me to live with, especially knowing how my future might not be great...
Do you happen to have a job? Or an income. Because I'm just worried that one day I wont have that, and won't beable to support my family...

Oorah! I didn't know about POTS until yesterday, but I wish I would have known about it two years ago. I'm an active duty Marine (0651) right now on a med board for syncope. I'm going through exactly what your video describes. They see the tachycardia, they see the blood pressure and heart rate changes, yet they keep telling me its probably just in my head. I would really like to talk to you more about this. I'm just dumbstruck I'm not the only one to go through this...

@sarahdionna I just thought of something else. My son has multiple chemical sensitivities. I've removed all artificial colours and flavours from his diet. I also give him epsom salt baths and put epsom salt lotion (made myself) on his body. Perhaps these ideas might help your body to recover from damage done by chemicals. The reasoning is that you reduce taking in more chemicals and detox from the ones you already suffer from. I know I was willing to try anything when I was sick.

@sarahdionna Doing the gf diet is probably good anyhow since it lessens your bodies need to work hard at digestion. Apparently gluten is difficult for everyone to digest. I will pray for you success! I have to tell you that your videos lent me strength and solace when I was sick. Thank you so much for posting them. You say so many things that ring true for me. The hardest part was everyone thinking I was faking it. XO
I went through the same thing. I kept thinking I had different issues and went from specialist to specialist getting my hopes up over and over again. I almost had to give up my kids. I just wish someone would have said it to me when I was searching for an answer. Maybe i wouldn't have been sick for so long. I believe POTS is caused by the body working really hard to fight an autoimmune issue.

@rosiesugars Yeah. I am actually doing a gluten free diet right now but I am still POTSy. I am also working out by lifting weights and doing cardio. I think my POTS is from chemical exposure and I don't know if there is anything to fix it or not but I am still going to have a "POTS friendly diet" and stay conditioned. I love exercising anyway. I do faint while exercising some days and other days, I just get a few symptoms but don't faint.

I had POTS for a year and a half and was cured by going gluten free! I encourage anyone going through this to at least try a gluten free lifestyle to see if it works for them too. xoxoxoxoxoxox

@rosiesugars POTS is a syndrome which means it is a collection of symptoms caused by something else. I am really happy for you that you found what was causing your symptoms- gluten allergies. Other people's main issue could be damage to the vagus nerve, hypovolemia, chemical exposure, deconditioning, EDS, RA, and several other reasons. Going gluten free is only going to help those that have a gluten allergy. I don't want people to get their hopes up thinking they will be cured if they aren't.

@rosiesugars I only say all that because for a long time, I tried everything everyone said that would fix me but I am still not "fixed" and I kept getting my hopes up and then I would be sad and let down when it didn't work for me. I want everyone to understand that we are all different but yes, by all means, try gluten free and see if gluten allergies is what it causing your POTS. I did it and I still had symptoms.

What is the job of an ammo tech?
Breeyanna88 11 months ago
@Breeyanna88 It depends on your duty station and if you are working at an ASP or with a unit. Basically an ammo tech stores and issues ammo to using units (the military personnel that goes out to the field to train with said ammo or to use during times of conflict against on coming fire from the enemy).
