Bald eagle K-34 calls out gently when a hummingbird visits. The day before this, K-34 had laid her first egg of the season (the egg is most visible in the last half of the video). For a sense of scale, note that the egg is approximately the size of a baseball or tennis ball. A hummer looks pretty small beside an eagle!
This cliffside nest is located on Catalina Island, California, near a colony of sea lions whose barking can be heard in the video.
