I bought this cultivator today and here is me using it for the first time.

It is a Huskee 31cc small motor tiller
Manufacturers Number: 21AK121R931
http://www.tractorsupply.com/outdoor-power-equipment/power-tillers-cultivator...

The description says it tills down to 5", but this thing has BITE and tilled down to a depth of more like 8-10". It forcefully pulls itself down into the ground as you'll see in my video. Not bad for such a tiny motor (the type used on string weed trimmers).

  • dude you are going to kill yourself

  • @setnommee Don't I know it! I'm glad I lost some weight since I shot this video.

  • For how small that thing is it seems like it does the job pretty well. How much did you get it for?

  • @vdubwhore It actually went on sale 2 weeks after I posted, so I went back and got the difference back... so it was $149.99.

  • @strangeseeds I got it at that price because i think it was a close out sell. I run it about once a month to keep it in shape. I don't know it that helps the motor but i am scared of rust.

  • @bigphat200 Mine is still going strong also. It comes in quite handy around my small yard. I've spent years adding compost to my beds, so it doesn't have to work as hard when used at home.

  • @strangeseeds It's been a few months and i really like mine. I feel better that i purchased it. I never saw this engine before but i am happy. I thought the thing was going to break but it is still going strong. have done over 4500 sq ft with it so far.

  • @bigphat200 Not a bad price at all that you paid for the bigger one. Mine is perfect for my small yard. I used it a few times for new jobs on other people's yards and it isn't very conducive to breaking new ground unless the ground has recently been rained upon. It works fabulous on my existing beds.. even small enough to wind around plants in the garden for some satisfying weeding. :)

  • I just got the 43c one and for the price $179 It does seam to work well. I really wanted a Mantis XL but at $600. wow

  • @vdubwhore It was on sale for $174.99 at Tractor Supply. I got it in the brick and mortar store. It does best when we've had a good rain and the clay ground is moist or as you see here in the compost\existing soil bed.
