  • Lol omg dude, that was freaking epic.

How long did it take to come up with that?

  • @digitalneo It took about 5 minutes to riff and write down. The actual recording took several takes as you can't see the other two people helping me. We kept cracking up.

  • LOA's aren't Gods. they are gatekeepers like in the new Orleans voodoo, Based on Catholicism Their principles are in the good rather than bad. To the slaves that practiced N.O voodoo in a Catholic way would say Papa Legba being the gatekeeper of the afterlife compared to Saint Peter being the guardian of the Gates of Heaven. Similar comparison

  • @PhreakStep he is called Papa Ghede in the "African" tradition.

  • @PhreakStep Bokors are not inherently evil, and Baron Samedi is worshiped by everyone, if he wasn't, graves could not be dug, so either cremation would become the standard burial practice, or the world would be buried in corpses. Also, he causes (according to voodoo beliefs, I'm a Buddhist/Taoist) buried corpses to decompose, if he did not, the amount of zonbis in the world would be a great deal higher, and zonbis would be harder to destroy. He's also the loa of sex, which most people have had.

  • @collegeboyrome

Not exactly baron samedi is a loa (spirit) of the dead in haitian voodoo he is worshipped by mainly bokors or evil magicians who use hexes and curses but probably has some connection with africa spirits but which one is a mystery but his name , his unique worship and appearence comes from haiti.

In haitian voodoo there is no such things as gods only loa (spirits) kinda like what native americans have.

New Orleans voodoo is something completly different its christianity/voodoo

  • if my knowledge is correct baron samedi is an african god so..........?

  • This video was presented to me when I took over as the Setite ST for my local VtM game. You sir, have won the Internet.

  • @LadyXUnknowngirl He meant Justin Beiber for you people.

  • he's still not dead.../facepalm...

  • Heh. Wonderful. Wonderful.

Can I be a Setite with the power to take someone's heart out through their chest, and their brain and soul through their nose?
