  • Eugene was the Original Bass Player in the Original Recording of Take Five which is Dave Brubeck's most popular recording. As Opposed to Dave's son who plays with Dave now. I know Eugene and we have dinner regularly.

    he was like the 2nd or 3rd but people think that he's the original because he was with dave during his most popular years
