fire belly Toad tank setup

this is my first aqua terrirum setup. 20 gal. i got 6 fish and 3 fire belly toads. tell me what u think

wow srry it took so long to respond but yeah probably only about 50 bucks at petco not including the tank and animals. it really cleans itself because its all natural but really all i do is change the water once a week

not really as long as i have a good amout of bio mass such as smalll pebbels in the ''stream'' it will pretty much filter itself

what type of fish do you have?

ive got 4 serpae tetras there pretty hardy fish and seem to be doing well with my frogs

im getting some fire belly toads and ive already spend loads and i dont even have them yet. ive only bought the terrarium and the hood for the lights and that cost me £78. i still need to buy all the lights, heat mat, filter and substrate and thats going to be £111 for all that. and thats not including any decorations, so that will be an extra £50 for those

hey some people say that your not supposed to add fish along with the toads because of the toxins they can give off. are your fish still alive im trying to do a setup like this and would like to add fish but not if their going to die???

Not jealous or anything but I don't like the fire bellys setup they are cool toads but it's too much to do since they have toxic glands and pretty much gotta clean the tank so I won't get sick and will get pricey with supplies I rather stick to the pacman and tree frogs.

Good looking setup. What I did for a divider was measure out a piece of glass, then had it shaped on an angle on the tip so it was kinda like a slope. Then used that special aquarium silicone from building tanks to seal it. I ended up breeding my toads, they had over 130 tadpoles. I don't have any now, I ended up selling all them to the pet store and gave the last two breeders away. Again, nice lookin setup!!!
