  • So that whole batch of noodles, how many people would that be enough for?

  • @Nelrockz1 I would say it could serve about 6 to 8 people, depending on how hungry they are.

  • YAY!! Thank you for sharing this. I had these growing up, they were made by an 80 year old woman who grew up on a farm herself this is REAL old fashioned HOME COOKING. I really want to try this, you make it look easy. Now how about your recipe for the whole chicken soup part? Hmmmm.....? Yummy :)

  • @HelenSkyLark7 I've got the recipe in the info of the video, and it looks like it won't let me copy it in in the comments.

  • there aren't noodles, the very noodles don't contain eggs and are not cut with knife, your pasta is more like fettuccine butt shorter (sorry for this horrible english XD)

  • @koibab Our local stores sell something called egg noodles, so I'm pretty sure that noodles can contain eggs. I think it's just a matter of semantics. I grew up on these noodles and this is the way my grandma taught me to make them. If you want to call them something else, you're welcome to. But I think I'll keep calling them noodles.

  • ....That's enough to feed me. :D Fantastic Recipe. I will definitely try this tomorow. :D Thank you! x

  • Wow this is a great recipe! Just in time to since the only food in the house right now is eggs flour and soy sauce lol.

  • Ooooh my goodness....what a FANTASTIC couple of how-to videos on homemade egg noodles. God bless you for this!!!!

  • When you cook these do they fall apart and become flour again? I think the last time I tried making noodles that's exactly what happened & it discouraged me. Helpful would be a Part three showing you cooking the noodles! Thanks for posting these though

  • I'm making my second batch of these as we speak. First batch came out bitter. Recipe called for 1 tsp. of baking powder which is what made em bitter I think. Not using baking powder on this batch. Hope they be as good as grandma's. Thanks for the video.

  • This is how I was taught to make noodles. My grandmother and several Amish ladies showed me how. I love chicken and noodles! Also this is a great way to use your leftover beef pot roast! Beef and noodles mashed potatoes and green beans with warm rolls amazing! Thank you

  • Awesome way to cut. I'd found a recipe similar to yours but with a different style of cutting, it's at instructables . com just search for Japanese Ramen, it should be the first one that shows up.

I usually just flatten, cover w/flour, fold in half and cut with a pizza cutter (I don't have a good sharp knife), but it works for me. I'm always looking to improve my technique & recipe, so I think I'll try yours as well. Thanks for sharing.

  • Great Video!
