um nope! it sucks. get 09 the show. don't waste your money on this. its horrible. if u dont got ps2, then you might just want to get 2k8 or something, because those are good. idk WHAT happend in 2k9, because its a terrible game.

DO NOT BUY THIS GAME. this franchise has had just one let down after another and this is no exception. I'm a huge baseball fan.i bought this game first day it came out. It looks nice at first but eventually the bugs in this game take over. . Today i go to load my franchise and it freezes on me. 5 times i've tried and freezes. I don't have Xbox live and don't plan on getting it to get the patch. The way the economy is now it's sad that this game came out and i spent my hard earned 65 bucks on it.
