Well look at the original animations. No rotation. The colour style of the new one is similar of a cheap animation project (something you do when your first using 3Dmax or something.) Also the geometric styles are similar.

The simple animations of the original games are awesome. 3D models in a 2D world just don't work.

I've been playing Sonic on Genesis since I was about 3 and I always wanted a Sonic 4!! It's all my childhood dreams come true! :D

I didn't complain until they started using 3D animations in the 2D world. When they had 3D animations in a 3D world I didn't mind.

@tinymouse2 Mario did the same with new super mario bros and it worked well. Dammit! Everytime a new sonic game is announced, these so-called "fans" just find something to complain about instead of appreciate it!
