The only part of the XC90's DSTC that can be turned of is Spin Control, which Volvo recommends turning off in deep snow or deep sand. Probably the same on the XC60? If you look close, you can see the L front tire spinning at 0:05, with the R front not turning. At about 0:12 the R front starts turning and the 60 gets out of the snow. The only way power can be transferred like that from a spinning wheel to the wheel on the same axle is with Traction Control on. Traction Control is part of the DSTC
