How's the oil situation? How many Americans are unemployed? You guys need wars; how else will you employ all those soldiers?

Goddamn, did you even stop to think what you just typed there? Thankfully for us, the Marines aren't funded directly by corporations, so they're not under any immediate obligation to side with whoever waves a check in their face. I hope I get to see them come to New York soon.

@InfoGladiator Being an "enlisted man" hardly makes you an expert on military law. I once knew an OFFICER who should have known better than to shoot off her mouth about the president of the USA after Hurricane Katrina. I can assure you she was a lot smarter than you are, yet she erred when she thought she had the same freedom of speech whiel wearing the uniform. Article 88 of the UCMJ said otherwise.

@InfoGladiator I happen to have many friends who are active duty Marines. One is a Sargeant, and another is a Captain. I'll see if they can verify your comment. Personally, I doubt it. If they wear insignia that identifies them as US Marines, it could easily give the impression that they are "under orders" in some manner or other, and that probably would not be the case here.
Capitalism: I would defend it any day of the week! The system has given us a standard of living unlike any in the world.
