Pokémon Gold & Silver - Ice Path

Technically this is Pokémon Gold, but the Ice Path is the exact same on Silver.

I did not use cheats on this one, more particuarly I didn't have the "No random battles" code on because there isn't a copy of the cheat which doesn't majorly fuck with all the floor tiles. Seriously, I couldn't jump over ledges, when I surfed I took one step and I was on my feet again whilst in the water, unable to move but still able to interact with other water tiles to Surf. When I tried to enter the Ice Path, it allowed me to walk OVER the entrance to the cave and walk on the dead space behind it, between Blackthorn and where I started. So, I thought "fuck it" and just used Max Repels instead.

The thing that always stumped me when I was in Primary school was the part before the boulders. I gave up and trained my Meganium to level 50-something, thinking the Elite four would be as high-levelled as they were in the first games. By the time I took them on it was level 63. Oh how I laughed that day...
