This idea came to me during the bus ride home, so it is a little rushed.

It is overtime, but I built it to the music.

The voice is clearly the great Richard Dawkins and is lifted from the audio version of "The God Delusion".

Music is by "The Crystal Method" and is title song from the album "London".

The pictures are from a wide variety of sources, but mainly Flickr. I thank all those people for sharing their great work!

  • @derangedyoshi

    Your point is taken.

  • @SinnFein4ever "Keepin' " is spelt with an apostrophe to indicate that the "g" is omitted, so in an informal context I fail to see the problem. And you seem to have missed that it's a bit of a pun - atheism is grounded in *reality* (or so we'd say anyway :L) and so involves "keepin' it real", whereas the phrase has another, positive, meaning in an informal context.

I'd agree with you if this were a philosophical treatise, but it's not, it's a YouTube video.

  • Great commercial.

The only bad part was the "keepin it real" line at the end.

Only low-class people use that phrase.

And the word "keeping" wasn't even spelt correctly.

It's difficult enough as it is, for Atheists to build a positive reputation.

People going to take you seriously, if you sound like an uneducated ghetto-rat when you speak.

In the philosophical and academic communities, you establish your reputation by demonstrating education and intelligence.

  • @just4you2see2009

Be a bit more creative then that...come on.

  • @arithine yea I'll have to look into that...read...blech hate reading..but anyways...first we have to think...wat is the beginning of the universe or assuming there is a beginnning...something had to have started it because nothing can start on it's own...cause and effect..

  • I'll grant you "everything must come from somewhere" (though that is not demonstrable), but what about that statement leads to your god any god or yours? What about it leads to a being all? Why is it ok to argue the origin of the universe by proposing an infinitely more complex being, and then say that that being is the base form of existence, and all else springs from that. It just doesn't match observation. As for the rest look it up, just because you don't know doesnt mean other people dont.

  • @arithine But how can all that stay in balance...think bout billions of possiblities of any univerese being created and why was it created? How and why do we have a consciousness? I can't say the multi-univerese is false anything is possible (actually that's something I'd love to learn bout) all I'm saying is that everything has to have come from somewhere

  • @BaconJeffrey You fail at trolling, by the way.

  • Wow God is an awesome creator. Just simply Awesome. Atheism...... Blows.
