  • On second thought regarding the pool, it might as well be the spent fuel assemblies storage area, although, what is shown here is some section still retaining low levels of water. A convenient angle, carefully operated camera movements.

    Could SFP be compartmentalised like found in ships, to separate parts of the system in order to prevent catastrophic damage in a breach/failure? Nah. #LOL

  • At 0:33 gamma radiation is being picked up by the matrix of the camera, manifesting in white pixel flashes. This area looks like the equipment storage pool used for various reactors components, like the steam dryer, steam separator et cetera, which would be situated here during disassembly and refueling. The SNF pool has a large hole & can't store H2O.

    By the way, this also shows that the cameras are very high resolution, what is being put out to public is a re-sized, low-res imagery. Enjoy
