hey can u tell me if you needed to treat the cement before u put your fish in your pond im building my 2nd pond but im going to use cement for holding the rocks but they will be in the water please help nobody can tell me

@koi22inch I did not need to treat my cement. When I finished the main pond, I hosed down the top layer and purged the water to reduce the lime levels. All the additional work I have done. does not seem to hurt my fish. Just be sure that your concrete has a respectfully thick layer. Mine was too thin in a couple of spots causing some rework.

i have a 18ft w and 22ft l and about 4 feet deep pond it alway get green water. but im wondering about UV light system. does it cost alot to used it? i never try it before and dont know the cost to place that system in

@Duhitpt : I don't think the UV light is doing much for my pond, but it is cheap to run, so I just leave it going...
