Feeling drunk?
The Democrat party, still staggering under the call for unity.

*On the 45th anniversary of Martin Luther King Jr.'s historic "I Have a Dream" speech, Democrat Barack Obama made history Thursday by becoming the first African-American to accept a major party's nomination for president at Denver, Colorado's Invesco Field. Hillary Clinton asked her supporters to put aside any idea of voting for Republican John McCain and instead back her former rival for the Democratic presidential nomination, Barack Obama. She designed it as an appeal to the millions of people who backed her during the primaries, and told the convention that Obama should be the party's unanimous nominee 'in the spirit of unity, with the goal of victory'. The race between Barack Obama and Republican candidate John McCain is called to be difficult from those "movable" voters. Hillary Clinton, not being chosen as the Vice-Presdential running mate may have influenced on the voters supporting the Democratic party. The Post-ABC poll showed that 20 percent of those who supported Senator Hillary Clinton of New York for the Democratic presidential nomination now support Arizona Senator McCain, while 70 percent of her supporters back Obama, the highest level since she suspended her campaign in June. Obama troubles with white working class voters have been overshadowed at the convention by the party's struggle to bring into the fold disgruntled supporters of his defeated rival Democratic Hillary Clinton. A survey released this week showed that while black and Latino workers support Obama by wide margins, white working Americans are almost evenly split, with 43 percent supporting Obama and 44 percent McCain.
