EDIT: This is to be used as for review and entertainment purposes only. It is NOT meant to be reproduced in any way shape or form especially in relation to any AP course. That counts as cheating and can result in the nullification of your class grade and a referal to the College Board. I take no responsiblity if that happens, all I can say is this:
DO YOUR OWN WORK! PICK UP A BOOK! FEEL THE GRATIFICATION!

This was my AP US final for January 2006. My topic was the changing moods and themes of the 1960s and the reflection of them in music. The 30 seconds is me satisfying requirements...so just skip over it. I cover JFK, LBJ, and some of Nixon's presidencies, legislation, equal rights movement (MLK and Malcom X), Woodstock, Vietnam, counterculture and lots of other stuff.

These are the songs I used (in order)
1. Theme From a Summer Place
2. The Age of Aquarius
3. The Times They Are A-Changin'
4. Ballad of the Green Berets
5. Another Brick in The Wall Part 2
6. Eve of Destruction
7. Space Oddity
8. Turn, Turn, Turn
9. Blowing in the Wind
10. He Was A Friend of Mine
11. Lyndon Johnson Told The Nation
12. We Shall Overcome
13. What's Going On
14. Surfing USA
15. War
16. Both Sides Now
17. Stop in The Name of Love
18. I Am Woman
19. (Say it Loud) I'm Black and I'm Proud
20. I Feel Like I'm Fixing to Die Rag
21. For What It's Worth
22. Abraham, Martin and John
23. Homeward Bound
24. Give Peace a Chance
25. National Anthem (Jimi Hendrix Interpretation)
26. The Summer of '69
27. My Generation
28. Purple Haze

30. Also sprach Zarathustra

  • Such great songs during the viet nam era. Now during the iraq war all we have is "This beat is sick. I wanna take a ride on your disco stick." I miss the days when people used to care.
