working on not jumping into the shoulder mount. So far so good, I just need to stop bending my legs for leverage, got it that once, felt like I had been kicked in the stomach! What a wonderful feeling!

  • WoW! So good.  How long did it take you from doing a shoulder mount with kick up to get to this? Any tips? Looks so graceful!

  • I've been able to do it a shoulder mount for about a year now. Tips: Hold a shoulder mount V as long as you can, this will strengthen your abs and arms, hold the shouldermount with straight legs, then straight legs on either side and scissor kicks. After that it's a matter of lifting with your biceps and rolling your legs up with your lower abs. If you can shoulder mount you can probably do it without kicking :)
