You're all so cool for not liking La Dispute. (sarcasm) They're not a watered-down version of anything. They don't claim to be like any band. They're their own band. No band claims to be like any band, unless they're a cover band.

More than anything, La Dispute is genius. Jordan Dreyer is genius. His lyrics are genius. He packs so much imagery into their songs and goes beyond writing cliché lyrics like most artists out there.

Every band is their own & they all have their own sound and ideals.
