Where is the 5th axis movement?

It is only 4 axis machinning, not 5 ax!

To be fair it is not cutting any material in the video. I operate a seven axis Mazak which can machine at very high speeds and feeds and can all be programmed through the controller without he need for cam. I dont believe a 0.0001 tolerance could be maintained not over such a long operation and with such high feedrates.

For this case it'strue. 5X simultan with that high feed doesn't go along with +/-0.0001" tolerances. I've worked on many Hermle's so I know it. And in this video the area being machined is some distance of centre meaning that the machine has to move even faster to keep the programmed feed on the workpiece. A tolerance of +/-0.001" is more correct in thie case.

That's not true. It depends on the machine - there are several models out for the tool and die industry capable of holding sub-thousandth tolerances at 800 ipm while finishing.
High speed machining ftw.

not many milling can hold +/- .0001. This machine is one of the best mill I have worked with. M128 works great with all the parts I am making Blisks and Rotors for Aerospace.

With such a high feedrate together with M128 you are not able to keep your tolerance within +/- 0.0001"

Wow!!! that was some of the BEST machining I have ever seen the the world. That guy must be realy good at what he does. WOW!!!!
