  • Orcs and Humans, not Warcraft

  • I bought it some time ago, but Ive played it with my friends only like 4 times. The main problem with this is the learning curve, + if you play with more than 4 players it takes ages for turns.

Thats the main dissapointment, playing risk 2210 ad now because of its lighter learning curve... Too bad though because its a nice game.

  • thx guys now i know if im going to get it :)

  • When you execute a moblize order, you can figures to any unoccupied or friendly location on the planet. You can only move figures to a single location which contains enemy figures because you can only start one battle per order.

Once a battle starts, only the figures in the location of the battle can fight.

Later, the protoss defenders could play another mobilize order, then move figures into the battle location to find a second battle.

  • mHmmm. So now in my game, I got to the point where i'm having a battle with an attacking terran group, and a defending protos group. My question is that when I move the terran group to a planet with protoss enemies on it, do I only have a battle with the protoss units in one area of the planet? Or do I combine all the forces on that planet and make the battle?

  • If the technology card says place in your play area, then its effects are in effect for the rest of the game. I believe that is what the Metabolic Boost card says, but I don't quite remember.

If a tech card does not say this, then it is shuffled into your combat deck and acts just like a normal combat card. The only exception is the nuke which is placed back into the tech deck after use.

  • Thanks! I really appreciate your explanations. One thing I can't seem to find in the rule book is about the technology cards. I bought a technology card because of an event card I aqquired. My question is about the amount of times it can be used. It is the Zerg "Metabolic Boost" card. It gives +2 health when you are the attacker in a skirmish, but is that just for one skirmish, or all further skirmishes in the game?
