SLP LoudMouth II exhaust system installed on my 2010 Camaro 2LT/RS with the 3.6 liter LLT V6 engine. This video was shot in my garage so there is a slight echo. This exhaust has the typical V6 rasp, but it sounds great under load while driving on the street. At around 2300 RPM while cruising (80MPH) there is a drone that will take some getting used to.

  • No reason to try to make a V6 Camaro sound good. Could be mistaken for a Toyota.

  • @MrNickWarner

Not likely, it's not just about sound. It's about maximizing the potential of one of the most advanced engines GM has put in to production. The 3.6 LLT has dual overhead cams, variable valve timing and direct injection. With over 350HP you can bring your Camry around any time.

  • @TheTekScrew Not doubting the capabilities of the motor, I just personally feel that's not what a Camaro should sound like. I thought it had 312 h.p though?

  • @MrNickWarner

I get you, but the way the government is cracking down on MPG's this is what the muscle cars of the future will probly all sound like. The LLT makes 312HP stock. The motor responds well to minor upgrades (Mufflers, Headers, Intake, etc.) The V6 makes about 250ish at the wheels stock. Check out some of the guy's dyno slips at Camaro5.com to see what these cars can do.

  • what do u mean by drone

  • @xo0willy -- noise in the car from the exhaust.

  • @TheCrizzyk Wasn't being a tough guy jackass, i drive a 2.2l S-10. Slow as hell lol.

  • btw..its cheaper to buy the v6 and fix it up, in the end they wreck on the ss.

  • @MrNickWarner what kind of car do you drive Mr. tough guy....?

  • @MrNickWarner Don't be to quick to bag on Toyota. The 2JZ sounds great,

Hate to be that one asshole in these video's that brings up something supra related but if you herd a TT 2JZ fly down the street with a blow off valve loud enough to make Helen Keller look over her shoulder, Toyota would be the last company you make fun of.

Besides, I think this exhaust sounds great.

  • @MrNickWarner the 2010 had 306 2011 has 312 and the 2012 like i got has the new Lfx with 323

  • How do you feel about the sound of it? Are you happy or would you have gone with something else?

  • @TheTekScrew It's undoubtedly a capable motor, (Digressing off-subject) The thing i don't understand is how Honda Civics (As an example) get roughly the same MPG they were tested to have when they were in production in the 80's. 30 years of technological innovation in the field of automotive engineering and we have no significant gain in MPG, simply because of emission's equipment.
