A Voice Still Rings True-A Salute to Keith Whitley (STEREO!)

A video I made featuring the country music and bluegrass artists who took part in this 1994 tribute to Keith Whitley. The video also features personal photographs I took on my very first visit to Keith's hometown of Sandy Hook, Kentucky on Labor Day Weekend 2003. That is me standing by the often-stolen street sign for Keith Whitley Blvd., and that is me with my daughter sitting at the base of Keith's statue located at the Elliott County Memorial Gardens in Sandy Hook. I visited today, the grave of Keith Whitley. I had to as a man would do hold back the tears that started to come. I could not belive my ears when I first heard him sing. I too am from Kentucky, and like so many of us am so very proud of him. I wish he could have stayed with us a little longer, cause I feel the best was yet to come. May GOD keep you Keith in his care. And one day we will all hear you sing for him.
