Sorry about the quality, i tried hard for two days to get it right.
I pace two trains in this video. the first being a eastbound stack train and the second real good one is a westbound grain train with DPU's pushing on the rear.

  • Keep the camera INSIDE the window and you would hear the train, not the wind in the microphone.

    G.

  • @TheMrBlinx that's what i try to do. after seeing how this turned out. but since i'm shooting from the drivers side i can't use my tripod and have to rest my arm on the door and hold it with my hand while driving with the other. if i can find a mount to attach to the door handle somehow that would be great. most mounts are for the windshield but i don't know of any for the side windows for those pacing scenes.

  • good video

  • thanks

  • Nice sound from 9:10-9:22.

  • i know i wanted more but the gas was on empty and it was a 15 mile drive back to emporia. sometime i want to extend that moment to Matfield Green and beyond with a train chase.
