Well said again Joe! US immigration law says the per country quota states no country can send more than 7% of the total worldwide immigration, this translates to 25,620 people per country per year despite the counties size. Proponents of the amnesty legislation say our 11 million illegal aliens will have to go to the end of the line and wait their turn. Considering the 25,620 per year quota, 11 million people from Mexico will be waiting in a line that will take 429 years to legally process.

It may not solve it; there are countless numbers that want to take advantage of us while legal immigration into the US, as it is into ALL countries, must be limited in order to protect the existing citizens and their culture. BUT it certainly would help!

you've probably heard that you should run for political office.

if you had these same ideas at that point, you should.

but there's no telling at what point our politicians lose sight of the american people's interest and start acting in their own self interest.

politics is a corrupt and self serving business.

what we need is a sincere politician willing to sacrifice his image to better America.

I am nobody's fool! Mr. Bush, just squandered 4 years (but he is a well meaning man). Most thinking that I am uninformed would simply be ignorant of the facts available to them. I spend weeks of reseach on my postings and have books and files assembled that back every careful word. Often those having few facts or ideas of their own may latch onto the D or R 'party lines' and follow that interest group blindly. We all need to THINK, get some facts and quit eating their prepared stew! Thanks, JOE
