  • @toodlepip990 I agree, he is quite the bass player. I'm a violinist, but I love bass players. They're usually about the coolest people ever and you gotta respect anyone playing an instrument as big as themselves.

  • Since this was originally televised, there should be a video of this performance somewhere. How might someone go about getting his hands on that video, I wonder. Any suggestions from anyone out there?

  • This is wonderful. There was another video of Karr playing "The Swan" in Japan, but it's been removed from YouTube. Thank God there's this one recorded the year I was born.

  • yeah, thanks. I just can't believe the brilliant tone that Karr gets out of the Bass. It's something i've been attempting to do for years. :-) The Swan is such a beautifully lyrical piece, too... amazing.
