Since this was originally televised, there should be a video of this performance somewhere. How might someone go about getting his hands on that video, I wonder. Any suggestions from anyone out there?

This is wonderful. There was another video of Karr playing "The Swan" in Japan, but it's been removed from YouTube. Thank God there's this one recorded the year I was born.

yeah, thanks. I just can't believe the brilliant tone that Karr gets out of the Bass. It's something i've been attempting to do for years. :-) The Swan is such a beautifully lyrical piece, too... amazing.

@toodlepip990 I agree, he is quite the bass player. I'm a violinist, but I love bass players. They're usually about the coolest people ever and you gotta respect anyone playing an instrument as big as themselves.
