89 Ford F150 Open Manifolds

1989 f150 300 straight 6 4.9L 5 speed open manifolds. it was too quiet so i took off the muffler then that got too boring so now im running open manifolds. its way louder in person as usual. sorry about the high pitch buzzing. this was taken with a cheap digital camera. enjoy

I agree, sounds like crap. By the way, a 4.9 ltr is a 302 v8. never herd of a 6 cyl 4.9. Any one else?

@SpeedyFagalas oh boy, where do i start with this one? first off you agree with who? second, this is a 4.9 liter inline 6. google it. obviously everyone has heard of a 6 cylinder 4.9 because this video has been up for 3 years and you're the first one to say anything. do some research before you pretend to be a know-it-all on youtube.

@ivanruiz89 My appologies. In Australia we have never herd of a 302 inline 6,only the 302 clevland and windsor. After i posted the comment i looked it up and found i was wrong. And befor you get your nickers in a knot, i did ask the question about the 302 6 cyl. But i don't have to do any research to know that it sounds like crap.

Aahh...the wonderful sound of unrestricted exhaust flow. I love it. had my 302 with gutted cats and no muffler but it woke my kids when I would leave for work in the morning. So my wife had me put the muffler back on. maybe I can whack it off there tonight???!

Technically you are correct in calling the 302 a 4.9. The 302 v8 is in between 4.9 and 5.0 l, but closer to 4.9. Ford rounded it up and called it a 5.0 as a marketing ploy to differentiate between the 300ci I6 (4.9) and the 302 v8 (5.0l). 302 (cubic inches) = 4.94889333 liters
