Typing and Page Turning Sounds

Typing on an older model keyboard this time, and I included some random page-turns. Unfortunately, because this was an older keyboard a lot of the keys were sticking. I tried to pay attention as to not smash my fingers on the keys too harshly.

I don't have the skills to convey my meaning without your feeling defensive about your technical prowess, which isn't in question. The very nature contrived sound is just as you described, you find some text then type it for the sole purpose of recording it. This creates a measured flow not normally present in spontaneous bouts of typing. I don't know the skill level of all the folks I've heard typing over the past 40 some-odd years, I just know that it was erratic.

@fraublucher I understand what you're saying. I am also a writer of my own short-stories.. Perhaps I will record some of my typing when I write some of those in the future.

I agree that this is one of the better typing videos BUT still sounds contrived. What I mean is, it sounds forced. Natural typing is not this consistent as there are many stops to proofread, backspacing, error correction, thinking, etc. Currently I am recording myself typing this as well as some Amazon reviews in another tab. When it's finished I'll post and see if we can spot any differences between candid typing and purposely tapping keys for a recording.

@fraublucher For all my typing videos I look up something on Wikipedia to read, and word for word I re-type all of the article.. So, it was real typing. I rarely make mistakes, I have about a 98% accuracy at around 95-115 WPM rate. I'm quite tech savvy so.. Sorry it doesn't sound natural enough for you, and that it distracts you.
