@lyue1996 economics is the new virtue of the west. efficiency is the goal and waiting is efficiency's enemy. it's not hard to see why our culture is nearing collapse with ethics of this type being taught. the end as we know it is a blessing. maybe when the chinese come in and pick up the pieces, they might do most of us a favour and shift all the justin bieber fans into labour camps where they can ponder their crimes against society.

the last group in society you go to for a history lesson are teenagers ( unless current popular culture is the topic ). it's OK, we all thought we were experts when we were 16. time proves us all wrong so don't take it personal.

People have missed patience, they always want to do things fast in the modern time, that's why almost all songs today are like on;y 5 minutes, while Classical concertos can last for like hours. People have lost patience, and concentration ..

@whywatchthistv I think people dont like classical music now because its hard to listen to it if you didnt grow up with it. you need a long attention span, and good ear, an understanding of the instrumentals. once you get used to it its actually the most beautiful kind of music in the world. im 17 and listen to classical, mexicano traditional, and thats it. the composers of the time were the most genius men on this planet (musically). they deserve much credit from today's youth.

Do you realize how influential this music really is? A rock or metal band could pick a thousand riffs from this piece alone. A trance producer could remake this. A hip hop producer could take a million samples from this. A pop or soul singer could use a piece of this instrumentation. Let alone the beauty or complexity of the composition. What other music can stir up so many emotions? Classical. I like to see Lady Gaga make this. Other music pales in comparision. It´s Gods music.
