  • This doesn't sound like Mario Lanza. No way. I could be wrong but.....

  • @PathaJ You are indeed wrong, it is 100% Lanza.

  • This song has never been sung better. Usually, the singer has to strain to hit the high note. Lanza was born to hit the high notes with tremendous power.

  • MAGNIFICENT....as always... this is Mario Lanza I love his voice thanks again and again for posting

  • @PathaJ Definitely Lanza 200 percent sure! ^_^

  • lovely, airy, unforced ... v. much like the Lt. in South Pacific who finds himself falling in love with the heavenly Polynesian beauty.

  • You are definitelly wrong, pathaJ....it could be no other with his prononciation, high notes, whatever.....

  • one guy on here says this isn't Lanza (who do you THINK it is - PeeWee Herman?) another says "sorry if he's some kind of legend." ........if he's some kind of legend. You can't make this shit up. God must've loved assholes, for he made soooo many of them.

  • @theodorewarren He was better than them. His pronunciation is fantastic-opera singers butcher their words. I know-I sing opera and have stopped.

  • @WhispersFromTheAbyss I heard Patamkin's version which was very nice&enjoyable but sung at least a whole octive lower.Mr. Patamkin's voice is very soothing to listen tobut it's not truly an identifiable voice because of its white SOUNDING quality which many broadway singers have. What makes it white sounding is that he is really speaking the lyrics on the breadth& not the diaphram which would give his voice more individual chacacter as 95% of the time I can identify my favorite tenors.Enjoy

  • @WhispersFromTheAbyss I wouldn't say he is trying to hard, he was an operatic tenor so he sings it in an operatic fashion which can cause him to over-power a song. As for Patinkin, he does a much better version of Lanza in the sense that it would be better for a musical, however I like Lanzas' voice much more.

  • Mandy Patinkin did it a million times better. This guy just tried too hard. Sorry if he's some kind of legend, but this just isn't anywhere near as good as Patinkin's. =\

  • @joeparkson 1 fifth high

  • Lovely singing! TY Yoni89 for posting
