Mastiffs, Kangals, Tosas, bandogges, boer boels, and are other large breeds of dogs. Sorry wolf fans, the larger breeds of domestic dogs bite much higher then wolves, and dogs like kangals and sarplaniacs have little to no trouble killing wolves. Highest bite force I've heard is from a kangal of Sivas Line which bit at 743 lbs of bite force. Some larger dogs have the same if not higher bite force then lions even. An the power of these dogs is uncomparable, just be glad there domestic and love humans. Because if they wanted they'd overpower and have no problem getting the best of there owner.

while im not sure a kangal could overcome a lion, they are no ordinary sheepdog like a collie.Those dogs are there to fight off large predators (wolves and bears) and they are very powerful descendants of old mastiffs. I do not believe in dog fighting I am a dog enthusiast and love how selective breeding has made so many amazing breeds who are good at what they do.i would hate to see either dog after a fight like that. All the dogs listed in this video are amazing animals

Wild Dogs bite force was 317 lbs

Rottweiler bite force was 328 lbs

Lion bite force was very close to 700 lbs

Hyena's bite force was 1000 lbs
