A review of the MOTU Traveler audio interface.

This unit offers the clear audio signal I need when recording. With great compatibility and portability, the MOTU Traveler is a fundamental piece in my studio.

  • Waste of money

  • Hey buddy, can you control the Traveller CUEMIX with a NetBook? and still have 0 latency and no problems?

  • @MdLProductions hey is it just the motu traveler or is it mk2, mk3? Also is this compatible with vista 64 bit?, love the videos, subbed

  • my friend has a huge problem with motu he had the 828 mk 3 DSP or something is not working, he got the ultralite Mk3 also with problems Motu I figure are not going correct with their sound card.

  • wut song is on the back ground?

  • i have a mkii and it is great- big improvement over the last interface I had

  • Is this the mk2 or the mk3? I am getting one but the mk2 is $400 and the mk3 is $800

  • Firewire 800 > USB 2.0 > Firewire 400 > USB 1.0................ since you looked lost on that note.

  • Ah of course, my bad. I always thought there existed only 8pin and 6pin (that was before I checked Wikipedia ;p)

My M860TU indeed has a 4pin port, it would be really nice to figure out how to manufacture a battery of some sorts to achieve maximum mobility...

  • FireWire 400 (6-pin) and 800 (9-pin) provide bus power ( up to 45w). Only 4-pin does not. So the desktop PC provide power, but laptop PC in most cases not.
