@lederranzen You get what you pay for. Movies cost money regardless if you shoot digital or not. If anything because film is so expensive it requires discipline and preparation. Something most filmmakers should have but don't.

Very interesting, I like it.

This piece had many problems and things I didn't care for, but I think the director may well have a brilliant filmmaking career ahead of him. There were many special moments, and the film had an interesting look throughout. The transitions from Black and White to Color added tension to the story. Some of the shots were just beautiful. This short piece has a great deal of potential as a feature. Lars Von Trier's "Europa" came to mind because of the shifting of the colors and of the play of time.
i would love to film something on 16mm, but it became so damn expensive..

@lederranzen No kidding. $25 a roll and $25 to get it developed and $15 to get it transferred to dv tape if I remember correctly. And a roll is only 3 min. It's crazy, but it looks so good.
