Malyugin Ring Cataract

79 Year old male HM in the operated eye, CF in his other eye. S/P CVA, s/p narrow angle and phacomorphic glaucoma s/p PI OU and on coumadin. Alert but can't walk. I was going to operate on him last year but he got discharged from the nursing home and couldn't navigate his staircase to come in. He was admittted to the hospital last week s/p fall and his sister called me and asked me if I "could do anything to help him see".

My first use of the Malyugin ring. This iris expander, as you will see is easy to put in and gives you a 7 mm pupil.
